I have acquired the domain name of http://www.icucomedy.com and have put up a temporary site until we get all the streaming issues, sketches recorded, etc.
Check It Out!!!
Plus... I've been thinking. I think in order for the iCu to be successful, we can have numerous members, HOWEVER, the key is the triad format. 3 to a show, very fast paced, and in your face improv.
Seamus, I'd like to spend some time creating show stuff, as well as getting feedback from you.

8/11 Goals for the iCu
Circling in my head is a dream for ultimate hardcore improv... allowing a door to open to express it, is this forum. For too many years, the brass ring has mocked, laughed, and ridiculed us to a point where a change needs to take place. The Improv Comedians Uprising began as triad of outcasts who wanted to perform at a level that would make an audience simply say, "Holy Sh*t, that was hilarious!" each and every time we would set the stage.
I feel as an improv comedian, that the improv presently being performed has plateaued. I'm hungrier, I'm anxious, and I want to get famous doing what I love the most... performing comedy while being different, not being like everyone else.
Saying that, I see the iCu as an improv group who's venue is mainly online, where people can sign on, log on, type an online address from where they live, and see a show from home. In time, as we perform more and more shows, have them accessible so those who tune in when a LIVE show isn't in progress, can still enjoy past shows.
I also would like to see the cast of the iCu featured in various skits that can either be by themselves as an option to click to, or in between scenes to break up the improv.
Not ruling out the LIVE shows on location, by having the shows available online, we can search for a venue for those who enjoy going out for the night, and tape it for online viewing as well.
I'm happy to say the iCu is now up to 5 members. Myself, Seamus, Tommy, Cory, and now Amy.
:) Fear the Funny. Enjoy the Triad. Long live the iCu.
